Kenapa cookies u nie sedap? Monday, September 20, 2010

Aha, patutnya bab resipi cookies mestilah ditontonkan during bulan puasa. Kan? Kan? Everyone are sharing bout their cookies recipe.. tak kisahlah cookies apa pun. But tahun nie, US 250 Dollar Chcocolate Chips Cookies menjadi sebutan. Kan? Which I dah tahu resipi nie beberapa tahun yang lepas.

Aha, no  matter what.. bukanlah nak puji diri sendiri. But sape yg makan cookies or biskut  raya or even kek yg I buat (even nak baking nie adalah setahun sekali), org mesti tanya "Sedaplah.. tak mcm cookies/kek yg biasa org buat". Ha la.. even kek or cookies tu ialah benda yg sama.. Tak kisahlah chocolate chips ker, cornflakes cookies ker, sarang semut ker..tart nenas ker..  Hihihi.. Mesti kita tertanya-tanya; "Eh,kenapa resipi aku buat sama jer dengan si polan si polan.. tapi rasa tak sama..dia punya sedap mcm beli kat kedai!" Hahaha.. pernah terdetik mcm nie?And pernah tak bila kita nak beli cookies atau kek seseorang tue, bila kita tanya harga, maakkk aiii.. mahalnya if nak compared dengan org lain...pernah?

Sebabnya adalah seperti berikut:

1- Resipi mesti ada butter. Butter apa u all guna? Selalu paling popular Buttercup la kan? Atau brand lain yg sewaktu dengannya. Reason being, butter ni taklah mahal sgt.. Ok-okla.. Or sesetengah org, nak save duit lagi (kalau nak save duit, u all takkan dapatlah rasa yg delicious itu ya) guna Planta jer..ataupun marjerin. Silalah, demi kesihatan..jangan makan banyak marjerin. Hiks! Ok, ok..berbalik kepada citer butter... Butter yg mesti u all gunakan adalah ini:

Golden Churn butter! Price lebih kurang RM7-RM8 utk 250 gram mcm nie.. harap maklum. kalau nak compare dengan Buttercup, memanglah price dia 2 kali ganda. 

2- Rahsia kedua ialah TEPUNG! Tepung apa u all guna? Tepung gandum cap sauh? Atau yg kat kedai kek yg u all sendiri tak tahu apa brand nya.. kan? kan? Silalah bertukar ke:

Pillsburry Flour. Sekali lagi harga mmglah mahal sket. Harap maklum.

Tadaaaa! Nie jer rahsia yg I nak reveal. Ikutkan ada beberapa tips lagi untuk sedapkan cookies or kek u all.. tapi yg lain, I wanna keep it as a secret. Hihihihi.. Aha, apa lagi? Open house masih ada waktu lagi. Cubalah test guna 2 bahan nie.. and u all boleh rasa sendiri difference dia...Yummylicious atau tak? Ok? Selamat mencuba!

I bet all mommies here or even bukan mommies la penah buat online shopping, right? Blog shop skrg nie tumbuh seperti cendawan. Everybody nak buat online shop. Senang, tangkap gambar, buat entry, publish, tunngu orang order.

Those who interested might order with you. Salah seorang kaki order thru online nie is me! Hahaha..

Ok, I always bought thru online. Most of the items ialah baju-baju Qaira. This is the cheapest way to find branded stuff with cheaper price. Mula-mula dulu, when I saw blog shop yang jual baju Gap, RL, Osh Kosh, I was thinking it is not original items. But, sampai satu ketika, when I was giler crazy shopping dekat Gap Store and went back with  my shopping items.. Wahhh... rasa bestnya mcm heaven! But, suddenly I was blog hoping and berhenti kat 1 blog shop yang I nampak sebiji macam baju Qaira yang I beli dekat Gap Store, I was like ................ WHAT????????????

I bought a cute romper from Gap Store. price is RM79 for the simple romper. And guess what? When I saw the same romper kat blog shop jual RM20.90!! Can u see the difference?

Till now, I'm not sure macam mana blog shop nie boleh jual harga murah. And bila I try beli, yes it looks like original. Most of the items yang I cakap nie, semua baby stuff la.

Dari insiden tersebut, until now, I boleh conclude most og baju Qaira I bought from online store. Lama-lama bila pikir balik, rasa membazir beli mahal, pakai sekejap and at the same time ada tempat lain yang jual murah. Ok, end of the story pasal nie!

Ok, lagi pasal online shopping. Yang tadi tue advantage dr apa yg I dapat thru online ni. But, disadvantages ialah;

Kadang-kadang I benci dengan orang yang jual thru online. Bukan semua.. Segelintir sahaja. Bila kita nak beli, kadang-kadang we might ask something la kan. Produk takde depan mata, haruslah nak tanya itu ini. Sesetengahnya, jawab dengan penuh sopan. Cerita all the details of the items. Yg nie mmg I respect. But, ada sesetengahnya baru nak tanya sikit jawab mcm tak nak jawab. Pastu bila kita tak beli, kecoh sekampung sedangkan ada ke haku order? Baru nak tanya pasal items tu. Pastu kecoh-kecoh cakap dia dah reserve and tak boleh back out! Fine. I'm not a back out buyer! But u should alert, PERTANYAAN dengan ODER! Sama ker lain? Pastu haku tak suruh pun ko reserve kan brg tue.

1 lagi. Bila kita lambat sikit buat payment, bertalu-talu e-mail dia suruh bayar. Bila kita dah bayar, senyap jer. Sampai kita pulak nak kena approach balik tanya dah receive payment ke belum. Takde responsibility langsung nak feedback balik. Bila kita tanya, 2-3 hari lepas tue baru dia reply e-mail balik.

Lagi, selalu nak bagi ayat-ayat palsu mcm "Our price is cheapest in town". Bila compare dengan org lain, bapak mahal harga dia. Bila kita inform dia yang harga dia mahal, dia maki hamun ckp kalau interested beli, kalau tak, tak payah beli. Wahhhh... eksyen! Tapi dalam banyak-banyak seller, ada sorang ni. Paling I respect. Bila dia kata price dia murah dr yang lain, dan I found out that her price mahal dr kedai lain, I inform dia yang apa yang dia stated tak betul. But, dia sangat bagus and reply me back. Ask for the link kedai mahal tue, dan esoknya dia turunkan harga baju dia. Bagus tak? Till now, I'm her regular client. Bukan sebab murah, tapi really honest! Bagus orang mcm nie...

 Apa pun lah kan, to the seller out there, kalau nak maju, jawab soalan customer dengan honest. Jgn kurang ajar like your items tue mcm orang tergila-gila nak beli. Menyampah haku dgn org mcm ni. Layan customer biarlah baik-baik. Nanti rezeki pasti datang bergolek! Betul tak?

Why lingerie? I think, utk all women, if we get the right bra, the rest will just fall into place! Yes, it's true! Dengan hanya starts with just one sexy set, we're feeling great for the rest of the day! Tak kisahlah wether u are a B cup or a G cup. Right? Besar ke kecik ker, everyone ada saiz tersendiri and guess what? We should be proud dengan aset yg kita ada!

Like me, I'm into D cup! Dun be surprise. Sometimes, kalau kita tgk, most of the people, tak nak mengaku size cup masing-masing. They tried to denied and tipu diri sendiri. Untuk apa?

Contohlah, 1 case nie. This happened during I beli bra and berlaku infront of me. This lady badan ala-ala montok gitu. Same goes with her boobs! Lebih kurang mcm nie la conversation dia;

Sales Person : U nak size n cup apa?

Lady voluptuous : Cup B. Size 36.

Sales Person : U pakai cup B ker? i rasa bukanlah. I ukur.

Lady voluptuous : I memang pakai cup B. Takpelah tak payah ukur. (From her face, I tahu dia malu nak ukur)

Sales Person : U kalau nak pilih bra, kena pakai cup yg betul. Nanti tak masuk semua, tak cantik wooo... (ish, laser plak mulut nyonya sales person nie.. but, its good la kan..)

Then, dia amik pita pengukur, and selamba ukur boobs that lady.

Sales Person : Ayoo.. u mana boleh pakai cup B. U kena pakai cup E looo.. U punya size ha, bukan 36 tau. 40. Mana boleh pakai 36...

Lady voluptous : (muka merah2 dah) Tapi I selalu pakai 36B. Takkanlah 40E?

Nak gelebeh mcm nie ker? I tak naaaakkkk ok!

Seeeee? Boleh dikatakan most of the women mmg takkan mengaku size bra dorang. For me, kenapa nak malu? Siapa yg kisah even u pakai 48 G pun kan! Yg penting u feel comfortable. Bagi I la, if kita dapat size sebenar ukuran bra kita, beli jer ikut size. Kita akan rasa lebih selesa, confident. Rasa lebih sexy! yes, that happen to me! I suka bila I pakai bra, betul2 masuk 'semua'. The corect size for my body! I feel sexy! confident! Semua la.. Even org lain bukan tahu I pakai bra baru pun except my husband la.. hihihi

Ok, ada 1 lagi kes that happened to my fren during university time dulu... Dia ni, badan besar jugakla. Lepas tu, kalau jalan dengan dia, sekejap2 tarik bra.. sekejap2 tarik bra. kadang2, I tgk dia, I pun rimas. Lagilah malu kan kalau tarik bra and betulkan bra depan org ramai. So, I cakap dengan dia;

Me : Ko nie suka sgt tarik bra. Ko tak selesa ker apa nie? Depan2 org pulak tue..

Fren : Aku tak selesalah. Bra aku nie, suka sgt naik2.. Tak nak dok diam.

Me : Dah berapa lama ko pakai bra nie?

Fren : Bra yg aku pakai nie, almost 2 years kot..

Cantikkan kalau pakai bra yg betul!

Seeeeeeeee???????? 2 tahun ok tak tukar bra! Memangla.. mestilah bra tue pun ala2 loose dah tali dia.. My God! So, i pun cakap dengan dia, better belilah baru. At least bra tukarlah setahun sekali, kan? ish ish... Then dia cakap, Bazirlah... boleh guna lagi..

Mmm, actually this is not the matter of bazir ker haper ker. Ni pasal keselesaan.

So, take this as an education entry ok! i bukan nak malukan sesiapa. But ini pun peringatan for my self. Sometimes yg selalu hadapi nie, org yg cutting bra dia agak besar. Perhaps malu kot gantung bra besar kat ampai... hahha.. Dun worry babe.. We should know ourself better. Sayangi body sendiri.. Kalau nak boobs nampak cantik and tak gelebeh, find a perfect size for urself ok!

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door.

SON: 'Mummy, may I ask you a question?'

MUM: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman.

SON: 'Mummy, how much do you make an hour?'

MUM: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the woman said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

MUM: 'If you must know, I make RM 50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Mummy, may I please borrow RM 25?'

The mother was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down, and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that RM 25 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' She asked.

'No Mummy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the woman. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the RM 25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you Mummy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the mother grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Mummy, I have RM 50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The mother was crushed. She put his arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that RM 50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Boleh tak baca nie jer I terus nak nangis? I've been very busy lately sampai kadang terpaksa tinggalkan Qaira.. keluar pagi balik malam.. Sampai I takut Qaira tak kenal mak dia siapa.. huhu.. luckily, bila i balik and Qaira nampak jer muka I, she's smiling.. so, I rasa lega sangat.. To Qaira, mama janji.. bulan nie jer Mama busy sket.. semua untuk Qaira.. lepas nie Mama akan bersama Qaira setiap masa ok.. Huhu.. that's why I was thinking to quit and lebihkan masa with my biz and Qaira.. sbb boleh kerja dr rumah...ishhh

Govt issues record 2.1M recall for dropside cribs Tuesday, November 24, 2009

WASHINGTON – More than 2.1 million drop-side cribs by Stork Craft Manufacturing are being recalled, the biggest crib recall in U.S history, following reports of four infant suffocations.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said late Monday the recall involves 1.2 million cribs in the United States and almost 1 million in Canada, where Stork Craft is based. Sales of the cribs being recalled go back to 1993.

Nearly 150,000 of the cribs carry the Fisher-Price logo.

The CPSC said it is aware of four infants who suffocated in the drop-side cribs, which have a side that moves up and down to allow parents to lift children from the cribs more easily. The agency also said there have been 110 incidents of drop-sides detaching from the cribs.

The Stork Craft cribs have had problems with their hardware, which can break, deform or become missing after years. CPSC said there can also be problems with assembly mistakes by the crib owner. These problems can cause the drop-side to detach, creating a dangerous space between the drop-side and the crib mattress, where a child can become trapped.

The commission is urging parents to stop using the cribs until receiving a free repair kit from Stork Craft. The kit will convert the drop-side into a fixed side.

The cribs, which were manufactured and distributed between January 1993 and October 2009, were sold at major retailers including BJ's Wholesale Club, Sears and Wal-Mart stores and online through Target and Costco. They sold for between $100 and $400, and were made in Canada, China and Indonesia.

Calls to Stork Craft were not immediately returned.

This is the second big recall this year for the company. It recalled about 500,000 cribs in January because of problems with the metal brackets that support the mattress. Some of the same models in the earlier recall were also part of Monday's announcement, CPSC said.

Consumer advocates have complained for years about drop-side cribs. More than 5 million of them have been recalled over the past two years alone — recalls that were associated with the deaths of a dozen young children.

ASTM International, an organization that sets voluntary industry safety standards for everything from toys to the steel used in commercial buildings, approved a new standard last week that requires four immovable, or fixed, sides for full-size cribs — essentially eliminating the manufacture of drop-side cribs.

CPSC is also considering new rules for making cribs safer and could adopt the ASTM voluntary standard as a mandatory one, outright banning the cribs.

Nancy Cowles, executive director of Chicago-based Kids In Danger, said the agency must include more rigorous testing for crib durability. "Parents should be able to trust that their child is safe in their crib," said Cowles.

Toys"R"Us started phasing out drop-side cribs earlier this year and will no longer carry them next month.

In the Stork Craft recall, the manufacture date, model number, crib name, country of origin, and the firm's name, address and contact information are located on the assembly instruction sheet attached to the mattress support board. The firm's insignia "storkcraft baby" or "storkling" is inscribed on the drop-side teething rail of some cribs.

*** Uwaaa... nie yg I takut nie..

Mission Accomplished Monday, September 14, 2009

Ok, mission sudah accomplished semalam dengan bershopping mcm nak patah kaki.. Berita baik, semua nafsu shopping dpt dilaksanakan... berita kurang gembira ialah keteringinan mempunyai kasut di bawah dr Charles & Keith akhirnya gagal dengan ayat simple dr husband;

"Ingat, awak nak pegang Qaira nanti..."

Mendengar ayat bersalah ini, akhirnya ku lupuskan jua hasrat yg diidamkan setelah sekian lama.. degan membeli wedges dr kedai yg sama dengan ketinggian yang tak seberapa itu, hanya cukup menenangkan hati dengan ungkapan "Janji ada kasut raya".

Uwaaaa.... benciikk...dan nak sedapkan hati, ayat sebegini berjaya memujuk hati;

"Takpe, tunggu Qaira besar sket bila dah tak payah dukung dia..."

Hehehehe...

Juga, pencarian baju juga semakin sukar apabilaterpaksa mencari baju bersaiz :

Uuuwaaaa... akibat melahirkan Qaira, beberapa bahagian badan telah bertukar saiz n need beberapa space untuk meletakkan lemak2 berlebihan tersebut... Sukacita dimaklumkan disini, saiz I skrg ialah XL...

Akibat dr dukacita ini, perlulah ditekankan, penurunan berat badan adalah penting untuk dilaksanakan lepas raya.. Kenapa kena tunggu lepas raya? Kenapa tak nak diet skrg? Sebab nak berjoli katak makan yg enak2 kemudian aku mmg nak berkerja keras...haaa.. tak sanggup... rasa sedih giler dengan keadaan skrg... resah dan gundah gulana memikirkan perihal berat badan.... nasib M&S mempunyai saiz sehingga bersaiz2... tapi to be in size 12 right now, adalah 1 bebanan yg perlu dipikul dengan senang hati. Hanya Meg Cabot sahaja yg memahami... lantas aku capai novel yg dah lama aku beli tapi hanya baca separuh jalan dr Meg Cabot.

Yang boleh menenangkan diri buat sementara waktu... Lantas, novel dibawah juga perlu dicari kalau pertambahan berat badan dijangka berlaku lepas raya... Hahahaha....

Bukan tu jer, postpartum hair loss juga lately nie dah nampak.. banyak rambut yg gugur even b4 nie, mmg susah I nak keguguran rambut.. tapi lately nie, dekat baju, dekat sikat, mesti ada rambut yg gugur... juga ada tekanan jiwa juga yg berlaku tapi disebabkan ia hanya sementara spt yg selalu aku baca, jadi tak perlulah dirisaukan dan hanya mengambil keputusan untuk memotong rambut spt gaya bob di bawah :

Rasanya gaya Eva Longoria nie lebih simple n pendek sbb Qaira pun dah pandai tarik rambut skrg.. Ishhh, banyak betul perubahan yg berlaku...

Akhir kata, saya pasrah n terima jer :)

Yuuhhuuu..

Received an e-mail again how to choose a good bras during and after pregnacy from one of my readers.. (readers katanya...hihihi)

Ok, ok, takpe... mari kita share..but this one bukan rated 18sx ok.. just an info utk kegunaan kita bsama..just based on my experience, masa mula2 dulu I pun tak tahu ada maternity bras and juga nursing bras.. mula2 I belasah jer la bras biasa yg selalu I pakai.. till sampai 1 tahap, I recognized that my bras wouldn't fit my breast anymore.. rasa ketat and tak selesa coz b4 this I used to wear underwired bras kan..so, bila pakai rasa mcm pedih and sakit sgt pada bahagian bawah breast tu..

So, I explore la and mmg dr dulu, for me, it's important to wear a correctly fitted bra.. sbb memandangkan that my size bukan ala2 cup A kan.. so, pentinglah bcoz this help us to retain and regain our figure kan.. karang nanti tak pasal2 org cakap;

"Ish, tgk dia tue, salah pakai size bra or cup and so on.."

Kan ker malu kan..so, moms to-be and moms out there, mesti alert that FASHION BRA do not provide adequate support in pregnancy. Underwired bras should not be worn when you are pregnant or nursing your baby! Ok?




Sebab sesetengah org, I tak paham.. patut dia pakai saiz besar, tapi still maintain saiz kecik and cup yang tak sepatutnya sbb tak boleh terima kenyataan yg saiz bra telah naik and cup bra juga perlu yg semakin besar..agaknya dorang malu kot.. but this one tak patut ok... Sbb kita mesti sayang badan kita and jaga supaya "aset" nie akan kekal cantik sampai bila2... cewahhh.. hihihi

Ok, first of all, mula2 kita kena get the right fit bra. During pregnancy, usually org akan increase by more than two bra sizes and may need to be measured up to 4 times...

Then, korang gi la kedai yg jual bra tue, mintak trained advisers measure and find the right bra at each stage..


How to measure your bra size

Measure directly under your bust. For inches, add 4 inches onto an even number and 5 inches onto an odd number to give ur bra size. For cm, round up or down to the nearest bra size.

How to measure your cup size

Measure around the fullest part of your bust. For cm, the difference between A and B dertermines your cup size.. for inches, the difference between the full bust measurement and the bra size indicates the cup size..

Yang penting, even apa pun your cup size, jangan malu ok.. D ker, DD ker or even E, F, G, wear a coorect and fit size.. sbb nie akan menentukan keanjalan "aset" anda di masa hadapan.. hihihi

p/s - I bila ukur balik and find out I kena beli 2 saiz extra dr apa yg I pakai b4 pregnant, rasa mcm nak pengsan ok.. tapi takpe... tak payah malu2.. pakai jer janji comfortable...kan?

Ok, hari nie citer pasal bab agama iaitu Mandi Wiladah... Actually I pun lupa pasal nie till hari tu i dpt e-mail yg mengatakan, nowadays, org ramai selalu lupa pasal mandi wiladah.. Org akan ingat pasal Mandi Nifas jer.. tapi mandi Wiladah, ramai yang tak tahu... but, I'm not so sure sebetul mana e-mail tue.. skrg i dah rasa was-was pula ok.. and please share if u all ada info pasal nie..

Acc to here, wiladah bermaksud kelahiran anak termasuklah keguguran. so, meaning that, selepas lahirnya anak atau keguguran, maka seseorang tue kenalah mandi Wiladah nie.. mostly ramai org hanya tahu mandi nifas iaitu mandi selepas keringnya darah nifas... Kan? But, yg i pening nie, if mandi Wiladah ialah wajib selepas kita melahirkan anak, so, kita mandi2 dah.. but, kita still ada darah nifas.. so, condition kita on that time, adakah kita berada dlm keadaan bersuci? bcoz at the same time, kita still keluar darah nifas kan? faham tak u all?

Sbb kalau mengikut pemahaman I yg tak seberapa nih, buat apa nak mandi wajib kalau after that kita masih dlm keadaan tidak bersuci? (maknanya kita dah mandi wiladah.. tapi kita masih kuar nifas.. bersucikah namanya itu?)

I nak explain panjang2 pun i bukan expert ok.. but this one hukum hakam agama..so tak boleh buat main2... So, i really need to know.. Puas sudah I google nak tahu lebih lanjut pasal nie.. but, mcm2 pulak I baca smpai I lagi confused. So, i stop google... But after all, hanya dekat sini jer, yg I rasa penjelasan dia ok.

So, sekarang I nak tahu 2 soalan jer...iaitu:

1- perlukah kita mandi wiladah selepas melahirkan even at that time telah keluarnya darah nifas?

2- Atau kita tak perlu mandi wiladah sbb kita dah keluar darah nifas dan hanya perlu tunggu after darah nifas kering and barulah kita mandi wajib Nifas.

Sebab, setelah baca itu ini, I buat kesimpulan yang Mandi Wiladah hanya perlu jika seseorang wanita itu, melahirkan anak, kemudian masih tiada keluar darah nifas (in certain condition, cth mcm caesarean), so, kena cecepatlah mandi Wildah. But, if wanita lahir secara normal, sejurus selepas keluarnya baby, maka akan keluar darah nifas, so, tak perlu mandi wiladah.. Kita hanya perlu mandi nifas after darah nifas kering...
